  • Handcrafted in a traditional Japanese mountain village workshop under the personal guidance of master luthier Kazuo Yairi, Alvarez Yairi guitars are made with extremely choice tone woods. The exotic solid side and back woods and fine-grained solid spruce tops are naturally air dried and sculpted with individually hand-shaped bracing and dovetail neck joints. Yairi's brilliant design innovations include an extended neck tenon for a wider range of rod adjustment and no neck/body irregularities. A unique coupled bridge design removes the forward pull from the bridge itself for greater stability and lighter bracing, leading to freer tone. This enchanting Alvarez Yairi DYM95 gets visual luster and sonic brightness from its sultry solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Other enhancements include a bound ebony fretboard, abalone rosette, multiple body binding, bound ebony headstock veneer, and gold die-cast tuners with amber buttons.

Heard It In A Love Song - Marshall Tucker Band Cover

This recording is one of my first multi-track projects which I made about 4 years ago. The audio quality isn’t the best, and I made this before I had a bass guitar so the bass lines are done on keyboard. The drums are my old Korg DDD-5 digital drum box. The guitars I played are my ‘63 Gibson Country & Western acoustic (on the acoustic lead bits) and my SG Standard on the electric guitar bits. My friend and coworker, JJ Sharpe, played the acoustic rhythm part on this one for me. This is in response to BCBBand’s version of the same song…sorry there is no video for this. I only have this particular song in the completed .mp3 format.
